Terms and Conditions

By using our services and making a booking with Time Warp Disco, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before finalizing your booking.

1. Services

Time Warp Disco provides professional mobile disco and DJ services. All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once we receive a signed agreement and the required deposit.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50%  is required to secure your booking. The deposit will be deducted from the total invoice amount.

  • Final Payment: The final balance of your invoice is due on or before the day of the event. We reserve the right to cancel the event if payment is not received.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) into our account. Proof of payment is required and should be sent to us via email.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • By the Client: All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking, you forfeit the deposit.

  • By Time Warp Disco: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment failure, illness), we will provide a full refund of all payments received, including the deposit.

4. Equipment and Setup

  • Responsibility: We are responsible for the setup and operation of our equipment.

  • Venue Requirements: The client is responsible for ensuring the venue has adequate power supply and a safe, dry area for our equipment. We are not liable for any issues arising from venue-related problems.

  • Damage to Equipment: The client will be held responsible for any loss or damage to our equipment caused by the client or their guests.

5. Performance and Music

  • Music Selection: We will work with the client to understand their music preferences. While we strive to play all requested songs, we cannot guarantee every request due to time constraints or the suitability of the music for the event.

  • Breaks: The DJ may take short breaks during the event. Music will continue to play during these breaks.

6. Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: Time Warp Disco is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services, including but not limited to any loss of income, injury to persons, or damage to property, unless caused by our gross negligence.

7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in a South African court.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change our Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on our website.
